"The Hurricanes served up another great effort on Monday but couldn't over the home-pool advantage and lost to Chesterfield Farms. The score was soooooooo close, we haven't been to compute it yet. We are proud to present our Swimmers of the Week: Berkley Newman (back row left) and John Lindsay Douglass. Mairin Schweppe (front row center) along with coaches Nate Sizemore, Kate Doneff and Michael Kubik. Not pictured but equally deserving are Abby Bellon and George Francis."

Warson Woods Farmers Market
When I heard about it, I felt like the girl on the right of the following picture.
Are you kidding me? No need to go to Tower Grove or even Kirkwood. My Warson Woods has its own Farmers Market!!
I went there last night with my kids. The fact that the Ice-Cream Truck was parked at the end of the Market was a great incentive for my children to let me tour the place at my own pace.
I bought the best Heirloom Tomatoes and fresh Beans ever!
Link to the official Website: LINK
When: Tuesdays from 3-7 p.m. June-October.
Where: The Warson Woods Farmers Market is located at 10001 Manchester Rd. St Louis, Mo. Right in front of the Emporium at Warson Woods.

Our weekly report from our beloved John Rawlings:
"We had a great time on the trip and WWST put up a valiant effort against Washington, Missouri, on Monday night. The Hurricanes hung tough, despite being outnumbered by a considerable amount, but lost 269-209. To recognize exceptional effort and achievement – both in getting us to Washington, Missouri and swimming against the competition – here are this week’s WWST Swimmers of the Week:

An Ad. that goes too far?
There is not one rock in WW. that I haven't tried to hide under since the French Team fiasco at the World Cup.
Well, today on page 4 of of the french daily newspaper "Liberation", here is the Ad. from Sony that "congratulates" the French Team with the "Game Over" punch line.

No animal was hurt like it is said at the bottom on the page. But yet, it is pretty shocking to see a Rooster with no head (the Rooster is the French National Symbol). Poor taste? Shocking? or simply funny? I let you be the judge of this Ad...
4th Annual Aiming for the Answer
A message from a great WW. friend Chris Keller:
"We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 4th Annual Aiming for the Answer Cornhole Tournament and Post Party focused on generating awareness and funds for autism. As has become St. Louis tradition, the event will be held this Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 5th at Kirkwood Park. We hope to make this our best event yet to continue to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who have autism.
We will have competitive and recreational adult tournaments, a kids tournament and a Silent Auction as well as a Post Party at The Highlands Brewing Company with live music by Project 324. Be sure to register early to take advantage of the early bird specials and guarantee your team a spot in the tournament.
Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 with all proceeds going to Autism Speaks and Action for Autism. To learn more about how you can get involved in our mission or to register to attend, visit us at http://www.aiming4theanswer.org/. You must check this Blog out!
I must confess I am not the only talented Blogger in WW. Of course, Brian Spellecy has been blogging for years and I enjoy his posts from his Blog.
But I just discover another Blogger, Hannah, who is extremely witty and funny. I so enjoy reading her that I advise you to click on the following link right away: http://hbombstlouismom.blogspot.com/
This Blog is a true Gem for readers like me who have young children. Well written, fast paced and so connected to the rest of us. So please enjoy irresponsibly.
Keep up the good work Hannah!
